Halayna lived in Lorain. She was separated from her husband and even had a U-Haul truck in her driveway, preparing to move out. Her estranged husband climbed through a window, shooting and killing Halayna and her new boyfriend. He then shot and killed himself. Halayna's two children, ages one and seven, were in the home when the murders occurred.
